But others tend to be overwhelmed by the demands for excellence of such a leader, and annoyed by his/her tendency to take charge of any situation. ● The Formative style: this style focuses more on personal development than on strictly work-related tasks. It works well when employees are already aware of their weaknesses and want to improve, but not when they are reluctant to change their habits. Each of them is derived from different emotional intelligence competencies, works better in specific situations, and affects the organization's environment in different ways. Being able to choose between different styles when circumstances require it creates the best environment in an organization and optimizes business performance. The more styles a leader masters, the better. What are the skills of a leader? Every leader should develop certain skills that can help him/her lead a team, either in person or in virtual environments.
